Just a quick rundown on what everyone's up to these days:
My mother passed away just before Thanksgiving, after a five year battle with leukemia.
I'm teaching a Sunday School class. We're currently reading "The Pleasures of God" by John Piper. I plan to do an expository study of 1 Corinthians next. I'm also selling some books and other odds and ends on Half.com.
Shari's working part-time since Micah's in Kindergarten, and taking care of him the rest of the time.
Sydney's growing up and becoming a sweet young lady. She's a high school senior now, active in our church youth group and very interested in teaching and missions.
Christian is on course to graduate from high school a year early. He has competed in numerous math competitions in the last few years, and done quite well at local, regional, and state levels.
Micah's in second grade. He doesn't care much for sports, except basketball, which is funny, since he's the shortest kid in his class..
Nathan lives here in town again. He's working at Good Humor Breyer's. Eric moved back out to South Carolina to spend some time with his mom. He's working at a restaurant but aspires to go back to school and major in music (electric guitar).
